Pokémon Mega Festa 2026 in Seongsu, Seoul: Waitlist Tips, Route & Pop-Up Guide Pokémon Mega Festa 2026 is one of the biggest Seoul pop-up events of the season, with several Pokémon-themed venues spread across Seoul Forest and Seongsu. For foreign visitors, the most important thing to understand is that this is not one single venue. The main Seongsu-area stops are Pokémon Secret Forest in Seoul Forest, metamong PLAYGROUND near Seongsu Station, and the Pokémon 30th Anniversary Party at Trendpot by Olive Young N Seongsu. This guide is based on my actual Thursday visit and is written for travelers who want a practical Seoul pop-up route: where to start, how the Korean waitlist system worked, how long I actually waited, and which photos are worth prioritizing. The Giant Pink Ganesha Disaster? Wat Saman Rattanaram & Return by Local Train

Chachoengsao Diary: Pink Ganesha's Betrayal & The Train Revelation

"Expectation: Giant Pink Ganesha. Reality: Scaffolding Nightmare. But the train saved my day."

01. Finally Arrived: Grab is Cheaper Here!

It took about 20 minutes from the terminal to reach the temple. The first thing I noticed? Grab fares here are way cheaper than in Bangkok. It felt good to travel without feeling like I was being overcharged. The excitement was building up... until I stepped inside.

📊 Difficulty: Easy | 💰 Taxi Fare: Very Affordable

02. The Scaffolding Disaster: Look at this!

ARE YOU KIDDING ME? 😭

I traveled all this way for the famous Pink Ganesha, and what did I find? SCAFFOLDING. It was completely covered for renovation. I felt so unlucky. Please, everyone, check local news or travel forums before you visit a major landmark. Don't waste your time and energy like I did!

⭐ Luck Score: 1/10 | 📊 Frustration Level: HIGH

03. Exploring the Rest of Wat Saman Rattanaram

Since Ganesha was unavailable, I wandered around to see the other statues. This temple is famous for its eclectic mix of figures—everything from Nagas to Chinese-style deities and a massive standing Buddha. Despite my disappointment, the scale of the place is still impressive. I spent some time walking through the grounds, trying to make the most of it.

04. Lunch at the Riverside: A Ghost Town?

Feeling hungry, we headed to a restaurant by the river. The view was nice, but we were the only customers there. It felt like they were out of business! We took a walk around the area, but the vibe was just... empty.

05. Realistic Food Review: The Rock-Hard Chicken

Most of the dishes were just passable, but one dish was a total failure. This crispy "chicken" (I’m not even sure it was meat) was rock-hard and had zero flesh. It was like chewing on deep-fried bone. Do not recommend!

⭐ Overall Taste Score: 5/10 | 🍗 Chicken Score: 1/10

06. The 20-Baht Train Miracle

The minivan coming here was so uncomfortable I never wanted to ride it again. So I went to the train station... and my jaw dropped at the price. The ticket was only around 20 THB! Compared to the 120 THB van, this was unbelievable. No AC, but the breeze was amazing and the seats were much more comfortable. YOU MUST TAKE THE TRAIN. It's better, cheaper, and scenic.

⭐ Train Score: 10/10 | 📊 Difficulty: Medium

If I had to sum up Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium in one sentence, it would be this: the whale shark alone makes it worth the trip. Where to Eat in Okinawa: 7 Food Stops I Actually Loved

Okinawa has plenty of famous food spots, but not every place actually feels worth your time once you get there. These were the food stops that stood out to me during the trip, from mazemen in Naha to cheap conveyor-belt sushi in Chatan and taco rice near the airport. Some places were planned, some were accidental, and a few were so good that I would happily go back. Quick note before you go This post mixes small local spots and well-known chains . For some independent restaurants, a live official menu was not clearly published online, so I used a current price guide instead of pretending every exact menu number was fixed. For chains and official facility-linked stores, I used the latest details I could verify. 1) Mazemen Mahoroba in Naha I originally wanted to eat at the very popular Danbo ramen, but the line was too long, so I gave up and came here instead. That turned out to be a very good decis...
